musical events at the historic Edwards Opera House.
Unless otherwise posted, all shows are Saturday night
starting at 7 PM and all tickets are available at the door
and go on sale at 6 PM the day of the show.

Crane Faculty Trio ... Classical Music
Chamber Music at the Edwards Opera House ... John
R. Lindsey (violin), Kenneth B. Andrews (flute) and
Carol Lowe (bassoon) distinguished faculty and
worldwide performing and recording artists form the
Crane Faculty Trio for a magical night of classical
music at the historic Edwards Opera House.
John R. Lindsey has been a distinguished violin
professor for 44 years, with more than 30 years on the
faculty of the Crane School of Music. He is the
winner of 2 Mozart awards and of the 2003
International Musician of the Year award, a worldwide
performer with awards and accolades too numerous to
Kenneth B. Andrews played flute with the Montreal
Symphony and has performed in the US, Canada and
Europe. He is currently the musical director and
conductor of the Orchestra of Northern New York and
professor of flute at the Crane School of Music.
Carol Lowe is a worldwide performer and recording
artist formerly with the Atlanta Symphony. She
has performed and recorded at Carnegie Hall and in
London, Paris and Munich and is a professor of bassoon
at the Crane School of Music."

Atkinson Family Bluegrass Band ... Bluegrass
Harrisville's Atkinson Family are
throughout the northeast for their superb bluegrass,
with their special chemistry and fun of a family band.
They love our "Opry" atmosphere, and it's a
rare treat to see them so close to home! Their 2014
show was one of the highlights of last year's Opera
House season and we just had to have them back.

Red Molly ... Newgrass
Molly is a superb national act that will grace
the Opera House stage this season. A featured act at
Merlefest 4 times, the outstanding musical trio of
Laurie MacAllister (bass), Abbie Gardner (dobro) and
Molly Venter (guitar), each an accomplished
singer/songwriter with individual recording credits,
merged to form the supergroup Red Molly. Their
joyous soaring 3 part harmonies and a capella original
compositions as well as stirring covers of folk,
bluegrass and honky-tonk tunes have brought audiences
to their feet around the world. You've heard
their voices and tunes on media, but the unmistakable
chemistry and magic of a live show is not to be

5th Annual North Country All-Stars ... Variety
The 5th North Country All Stars Gala features 37 of
the region's most talented musicians in various unique
combinations and always promises a special night of
music and fun. All musicians donate their time
to support the Opera House, so do your part and come
cheer on the show! All tickets are $15.00
July 11 ... Saturday, 7 PM
Paul Myers Jazz Trio ... Jazz
NYC based professional jazz musician/composer Paul
Myers brings his trio, World On A String, to the Opera House stage for an
evening of quality live jazz usually only available at
high end clubs in the Big Apple. Cool NY jazz
for a hot summer night!
The group appearing at the Opera House features
Meyers on the nylon string guitar, Leo Traversa on
bass and Vanderlei Pereira on drums. The repertoire
includes original compositions and arrangements, using
this core of great players/improvisers to perform
music that fuses the jazz tradition with Brazilian and
Latin and beyond. Vanderlei, a tremendous player
from Brazil, lends a strong accent from that country
and he brings in a deep knowledge of Brazilian and
Afro-Cuban rhythms. Leo is a veteran player of all of
these styles as well as much African music.

Amy Gallatin ... Folk
Amy Galatin's unique folk music show promises to be
an unforgettable evening. Don't miss this
special singer, a unique summer treat! Tickets $12.

Way Down Wailers ... Rock
Local rockers the Way Down Wailers bring their
"swamp rock" originals back to the Opera
House. You can say you heard their tunes first live,

Jay and Molly Ungar ... Traditional
Jay and Molly Ungar again have agreed to grace our
Opera House stage with their renowned and unmistakable
